Genesis
14
Verse
1
Kings
rose up in Sodom's realm,
Warriors
clashed with spear and helm.
They
battled fierce, a brutal fight,
Captives
taken in the dead of night.
Chorus
Abram
heard of Lot's capture dire,
Raised
his men, set his heart on fire.
Three
hundred eighteen of his own,
Marched
to save his nephew, known.
Verse
2
Chasing
enemies like wind they flew,
Caught
them near the valley's view.
With
allies by his righteous side,
Abram
struck, fierce battle cried.
Chorus
Abram
heard of Lot's capture dire,
Raised
his men, set his heart on fire.
Three
hundred eighteen of his own,
Marched
to save his nephew, known.
Verse
3
Melchizedek,
priest and king,
Blessed
Abram, songs did sing.
Tithes
and offerings to God he gave,
Victorious,
mighty to save.
Chorus
Abram
heard of Lot's capture dire,
Raised
his men, set his heart on fire.
Three
hundred eighteen of his own,
Marched
to save his nephew, known.
Verse
4
King
of Sodom then drew near,
Offered
wealth, rewards so dear.
Abram
refused, his heart stayed true,
To
God alone, his praise he drew.
Chorus
Abram
heard of Lot's capture dire,
Raised
his men, set his heart on fire.
Three
hundred eighteen of his own,
Marched
to save his nephew, known.
