Genesis 45
Verse
1
Joseph
stood before his brothers,
Tears
welling in his eyes,
"Clear
the room," he whispered softly,
"Let
no stranger hear these cries."
Chorus
"Brothers,
I am Joseph,
Do
not fear, come near.
What
was meant for sorrow,
God
turned for good, right here."
Verse
2
His
brothers stood in silence,
Guilt
and shame, a heavy load,
But
Joseph's heart was tender,
And
love and grace overflowed.
Chorus
"Brothers,
I am Joseph,
Do
not fear, come near.
What
was meant for sorrow,
God
turned for good, right here."
Bridge
"Go
and tell our father,
That
his son is still alive,
Bring
him to this place of plenty,
Where
our family will thrive."
Verse
3
Pharaoh
heard the news with gladness,
Gave
them wagons, gifts, and grain,
"Bring
your family to this kingdom,
Shelter
from the drought and pain."
Chorus
"Brothers,
I am Joseph,
Do
not fear, come near.
What
was meant for sorrow,
God
turned for good, right here."
Outro
So
they journeyed back to Jacob,
With
the truth that set them free,
And
the family was united,
In a
land of jubilee.
