(Psalm 1)
The Righteous Path
Blessed
is the one, whose heart is steadfast,
Who
treads not in the wicked's path,
Nor
stands in sinners' gathering vast,
But
finds delight in wisdom's aftermath.
Like
a flourishing tree, deeply rooted,
By
streams of life, it thrives and grows,
Fruitful
in due season, undiluted,
Its
leaves shall not wither, as blessing flows.
The
wicked, however, face a different fate,
As
chaff before the wind, they're blown away,
They
shall not stand in judgment's weight,
Nor
find solace in the righteous way.
For
the Lord watches o'er the righteous,
Their
steps are guided, in His light they dwell,
While
the wicked stumble, their hearts joyless,
The
righteous find peace, their spirits swell.
Day
and night, the law they ponder,
Meditating
on its sacred decree,
Like
a beacon, their path grows fonder,
In
the righteous way, they find true glee.
The
wicked, their path shall surely perish,
Their
destiny, as smoke, fades into air,
But
the righteous, God's love shall cherish,
Their
reward, eternal life, beyond compare.
So,
let us choose the righteous way,
And
walk not in the wicked's stride,
For
blessed are they who seek and obey,
In
God's grace, their souls forever abide.

is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor
standeth in the way of sinners,

sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

his delight is in the law of the Lord;

ungodly are not so,
