Bible-Quotes

Peace-1

1

Psalm 27:12

The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

2

Isaiah 41:10

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

3

John 16:22

So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you.

4

Matthew 10:29-31

Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

5

Matthew 6:25-27

Therefore, I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

Biblical Facts - Numbers in the Bible and their Significance

Biblical Facts - Numbers in the Bible and their Significance   The Bible frequently uses numbers both literally (for counting) and symbolically to convey deeper spiritual truths, divine patterns, or theological concepts. One in every five verses contains a number, and while not every instance is symbolic, recurring patterns reveal God's design and character. Biblical Numerology (the study of these meanings) draws from context, repetition, and associations across Scripture, though interpretations vary among scholars. Only 666 is explicitly called symbolic in the text (Revelation 13:18). Common meanings are inferred from consistent usage, such as 7 for completeness. Numbers often emphasize themes like God's sovereignty, human imperfection, testing, or redemption. Story of Joshua (From Birth to Death)

Story of Joshua (From Birth to Death)   Joshua: From Servant to Leader Joshua was born in Egypt, during the time the Israelites were enslaved. His early years were marked by the stories of oppression and promise—the stories of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and the God who had promised freedom. Though the Bible does not record the exact details of his childhood, it’s clear that Joshua grew up learning the ways of God and the laws of Moses, preparing him for a destiny far greater than any ordinary life. As a young man, Joshua first came to prominence when he served as one of Moses’ assistants. He was brave, obedient, and deeply devoted to God. During the battle with the Amalekites, Joshua proved his courage and leadership. Moses held up his hands during the fight, and as long as Moses’ hands were raised, Israel prevailed. When Moses grew tired, Joshua showed determination and led the army to victory. This was an early sign of the faith and courage that would define his life. ...
